 The
prom is one of the most important nights
in your life as a young as a young woman.
The dress, shoes, make-up and hair are all
important aspects to making your big night
a guaranteed success. These tips will help
to make that happen.
Tip #1
Choose your eyes or your mouth. The big
mistake is to highlight both facial features.
Pick one and downplay the other. If you
prefer your eyes than go with liner, shadow,
mascara, & even false eyelashes (have a
make-up artist apply). Then use a light
lip color with a lip gloss over it. If you
like your lips better go with shades of
red or dark pinks. Stay away from brown
tones as they can sometimes make you look
to harsh. Then make sure you eye makeup
is soft and simple.
Tip #2
If in doubt, mimic the magazines. Look
through your favorite Teen publication and
copy the look of the young and famous. Your
makeup artist can copy the look on you or
you can try it yourself before the big night.
Many times they even tell you what products
were used on the celebrity.
Tip #3
Don't over do your foundation. Keep it
light. No pancake make-up for your big night.
If you feel you have blemishes to cover,
use a concealer that matches your skin tone
and apply a light powder over it. Make sure

perfect look.
Tip #4
Those all important pictures. You'll
have them for a very long time, so don't
forget to apply liner & lipstick. Stand
a bit sideways with one foot in front of
the other; you'll look 10 pounds thinner.
